Thinking about visiting Java in Indonesia? Then you’ve come to the right place.

Java is one of the biggest islands in Indonesia.

The island is one of the most densely populated locations in the whole world. There are 135 million inhabitants living on 139.000 km²so you can see why. 🙂 Also, around 60% of all Indonesians live on Java.

There are many reasons why you should visit Java:

Jakarta city – the capital of Indonesia as well as the second largest Indonesian city – Surabaya
there are several volcanoes on the island – many of them still very active like Merapi and Bromo
it is full of amazing nature – lush green jungles and amazing flora and fauna
locals are extremely kind and they are always smiling 🙂
Java is full of amazing history
there are some incredible UNESCO heritage sites on Java (Borobudur and Prambanan temples)
the food is very delicious and extremely cheap
