Hidden Corners of Ljubljana – Slovenia

Ljubljana

Summer holidays are finally here and I have more free time to explore and wander around again. 🙂

Since I love to be in nature and my home town Ljubljana is one of the greenest cities I know – it was also voted the European Green Capital of 2016, I decided that I will explore more of its hidden corners.

Luckily for me, there are many that are really close to my neighbourhood.

The beautiful green forests, the green Sava river with its rapids, meadows full of flowers, wide wheat fields and turquoise blue sky really make you feel the summer vibe.

If you happen to visit Ljubljana (which is also the capital city of Slovenia) and you have some extra free time with no determined plans, exploring these hidden green corners is a great idea.

Check the photos bellow and tell me in the comments down below if you agree. 🙂
